In a day and age where technology of all varieties seem to be available from all types of places, some consumers can be skeptical about what they are buying. Seeing as products have become more innovative, and in some cases more fragile, sometimes consumers just need a place to go where they can ensure they know the product is worth the price.
Well look no further, I have come across a very useful site where you can see product reviews and prices, software downloads, and tech news. The site is known as cnet, it is powered by google, and a pretty helpful site. Check it out.
I checked out this site and immediately saw a software program i had purchased for my laptop. It was reviewed as a lets say "horrible program" and is probably correlated with why my laptop got a virus weeks later. It helped me find a similar easier to install program which is now much more effective. I also saw a couple products on there that my mother had purchased. Now i can tell her which ones to return and which to keep. Like the digital antenna she paid 80 bucks for and it was worthless.

The reviews are useful when doing research on new products you want to buy conserning if your getting the best product for your money. I like the site because it gives information on what ideas and options Companies are doing to promote new technological advances.

ReplyDeleteIt is just amazing how technology has evolved in the past 10 years I would have never thought some things that are going on today would happen this fast. Technology is everywhere now and days. It just gets me thinking how things will be in the next 10 years. Technology is just moving so fast that it is kind of scary because you do not know how things will be in the next 50 years. Cnet is a great website I have used it before for different things on my laptop. It is a great site to see if some things work or not.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very useful site. I usually just use Google for low prices for the things that i need. This site is good to look for new and old technology at a reasonably price. Which is something really hard to come across now days. I will also keep this site in mind while purchasing a better cell phone or laptop.
