Homework #8 - Charts - Due Sunday night April 8, 2012

Homework #8 is an Excel Tutorial about creating charts. Like maps, charts are a good visual way of showing information and helps the user highlight important areas within the data set. Your assignment will generate four different charts from four different sets of data.

View the Tutorials below. The first tutorial has a link to an excel file you can use to practice. Click on the youtube link to get to the actual youtube page with the video and information about the video that will include a link to download the practice excel data.

Download the excel spreadsheet below a create a different chart for each sheet. Each charts should be a different type (Pie, Line, GANTT, Bar, etc.), you decide.

Homework #8

Your grade will be based on how much detail you add to the charts that indicate you experimented with charting characteristics.
