Monday January 30, 2012, the class discussion was about the changing macro economy. Our economy has moved from an agricultural based economy to an industrial based economy and now its become an information based economy. Technological changes are moving remaking the economy global at a fast pace.

Its Management Information Systems that are leading this revolution.

We need to understand these changes and be able to adapt to future changes inorder to maintain our expected standard of living.

    It is kind of crazy they have these ideas so long and its at the point where they are doing things at the right time and making the future come very fast I do not know if I'm ready for it yet no iRobot for me

    It's interesting to see how quickly these new forms of technology have come into everyday use, it got me to thinking about whether or not we'll be able to maintain our current pace in light of how advanced we already are today.

    I wonder if our future will really be like the video by Corning. seeing those commercials from the prediction video it is amazing to be living in the more advanced modern world they predicted back in 1972. Also the Did You Know video was mind blowing to know that we fall so behind in our education compared to India and China yet understandable. If the parents in the United States could adopt methods to better encourage our students to be the best in school today we could look forward to a quicker evolving world.
